Where can I get web hosting with a domain name of my choice included that is cheap?

I%26#039;m looking to start my first website. I need webhosting and my own domain name. What%26#039;s the cheapest? I want it all in one! My friend told me Yahoo, she only pays $12.00 a month has web hosting and her own domain name but she said they waived the setup fee which is $25. I don%26#039;t want to pay the set up fee!

A domain cost only about US$9 a year. So you might as well register elsewhere. Hosting plan typically cost around $8 a month.

Although you can buy both from the same source there is absolutely no need to buy your domain and hosting from the same company. I always find it%26#039;s cheaper to go to a domain name provider which is cheap for the domain and a hosting provider which is cheap for the hosting.

Also before you buy the cheapest - know what you need in terms of services. If this is your first website - do you need some sort of webuilder. Are you going to use frontpage? Are you going to do a blog, is Wordpress provided...etc.
