i need a simple n complete tutorial to setup my own web hosting at my home.. i%26#039;m using Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router, dynamic ip, using winxp pro, apache, mysql, phpmyadmin... i hope someone can help me because this is my 1st time to create a personal web hosting from home.. im really2 Newbie!!!!!! help me

1. Get a static IP address

2. Get a router with a DMZ port and put the web server on the DMZ port or your other pcs can be subject to hacking

3. Connect your web server to the router via a wired connection

4. Depending upon the web site, you may find that an XP pc would do the job and you would not need an actual server for the job unless your site needs Mysql, Apache, Phpmyadmin, etc. As a %26quot;newbie%26quot; it is hard to see you requiring all the above on your first site.

5. consider hosting on a public host; it is probably cheaper and definately faster.

6. Now you need to make your site; check into editors like Dreamweaver, Microsoft Front Page, Net Objects Fusion unless you want to write in HTML directly which you also can do.

7. You need to register your domain and need DNS service as well
