There%26#039;s a catch though... what is the business model of the free host? Where are they making their money? If it isn%26#039;t sound, all your work will disappear. Which isn%26#039;t saying don%26#039;t try it... just make sure you back up your work regularly. Then when you want to switch to something more reliable, there are decent hosts out there for $5 a month for basic accounts with a lot of features.

There are free hosting sites but they are full of ads which isn%26#039;t very professional but if its just a personal website it should be ok. Bravenet is one option. Also check with your ISP, A lot of them offer free webspace to their customers.
